As your newly elected mayor, I would like to thank you for your support and encouragement during my campaign. I have several major goals that I hope to accomplish with your help during the next four years. One of my goal’s is to lead a Council that will listen and be responsive to your ideas and concerns. Communication is the key to this goal, and I hope you will come to council meetings as your schedule allows or please feel free to call me at 763-263-3801. As a City Council we need to hear your input on city issues because we are here to serve YOU. Thank you again for giving me the opportunity to serve you as your mayor for the next four years. I look forward to working with you and our new council to proactively shape Big Lake as a great place to live and work.

Big Lake families are struggling to balance their household budget with shrinking incomes. The last thing families or businesses need are higher taxes.
My experience includes serving four years on the current Big Lake City Council. I will continue to support and promote industrial and business growth and will continue to control spending to maintain a tighter city budget. Elected officials have a fiduciary responsibility to reduce the city’s debt. I will continue to work to keep taxes down and act responsibly with decisions for use of tax dollars which equals living within our means as a city.
With four years of service as Big Lake City Council person, I am prepared to take a
new approach in leadership by seeking your support as Mayor.
